Old Window Workshop April 8 | Columbus Landmarks

Join us for a hands-on window workshop on Saturday, April 8 from 9am to noon and learn why repairing & restoring your old wood windows has advantages over replacement. You will learn window anatomy and energy saving strategies, and get hands-on repair and restoration experience from window expert Mark Blowers of Excalibur Restoration at an active work site: 100 Jefferson Avenue.

We are sorry but this workshop is now full.  We plan to add a second date. Email Susan Keeny, Home Preservation Program Director, if you wish to be notified of the second workshop date.

The workshop begins in the Jefferson Avenue Center Carriage House (with donuts & coffee!) at 9 a.m. Following a brief class presentation and discussion, we will walk to the nearby work site. Please wear comfortable work clothes and closed-toe shoes.Net workshop proceeds will benefit The Jefferson Avenue Center which owns and operates historic and newly developed properties that support many nonprofit organizations, including Columbus Landmarks. The c1878 Italianate at 100 Jefferson Ave. is currently undergoing a complete restoration as an Ohio Historic Tax Credit project and will serve as our workshop work site.

Free parking during the workshop is available in spaces to the north and south of the Jefferson Avenue Carriage House accessible from N. 11th St. or in the lot on the SW corner of Jefferson Ave. and Long St.
