Programs & Events
Landmarks takes great pride in its quality programs. Our programs are led by professionals in the fields of architecture,
architectural history and other related fields. These individuals share their knowledge and expertise with great enthusiasm.
Advance ticket purchasing is strongly recommended because programs fill
up quickly, and groups are often limited in size. For walking tours, tickets
are not refundable. We suggest you arrive at the specific meeting place
approximately 15 minutes prior in order to register. To purchase
advance tickets, call 614.221.4508.
If you would like to schedule a group tour, or receive a
list of additional tour options and prices, please contact
us.

Drexel Theatre Movie Fundraiser
Los Angeles Plays Itself
May 18 3:30pm - 6:30pm
Drexel Theatre, 2254 E. Main Street
Join former Columbus resident, filmmaker, and faculty member of the California
Institute of the Arts, Thom Andersen, on May 18th, Sunday afternoon at
the historic Drexel East, for Los Angeles Plays Itself, an unusual look
at a seldom-seen city and only the 2nd showing in Columbus. Using more
than 200 film clips (famous, obscure, and camp) Thom Andersen showcases
Los Angeles’s architecture as subject, background, and ultimately
main character of the city. And the film may answer the question architecture
lovers ponder—Are criminals actually drawn to Modernist residential
architecture?
