City Hop is a true downtown walking tour. Come experience the downtown way of life! Get a firsthand look at the lifestyle of those who live downtown. Below is a preview of this year's tour stops:
 1. Neighborhood Launch* 50 North 4th Street *Start the tour here » Neighborhood Launch is a vibrant new downtown neighborhood encompassing nine city blocks. The residential neighborhood is located at the intersection of Gay and 4th Streets, and features parks, water fountains, decorative wrought iron fencing and tree lined boulevards. Designed to be a pedestrian friendly streetscape, the townhomes are two or three stories in height with distinctive exterior facades. Neighborhood Launch offers two or three bedroom townhouses, one bedroom garden flats, and one bedroom bridge lofts. Units include garage and personal outdoor living spaces. |

 City Hop Info Stop - 33 North 3rd Street map » A new addition on the tour is a downtown information center and “marketplace” of vendors from the Pearl Market. At this stop, you will find information and displays of the strategic planning process for downtown’s future, information from Columbus Landmarks Foundation, the Downtown Residents Association of Columbus, Experience Columbus, and others. 2010 Downtown Columbus Strategic Plan Working with the City of Columbus and the CDDC, the planning team from MSI Design has drafted a plan that identifies catalytic projects, new policies and outlines a robust implementation strategy. The plan will also establish a framework for regular updates to ensure that it remains current and responsive to the changing needs of downtown Columbus. Three public meetings were conducted to gain feedback and led up to the City Council adoption process.
