Olde Towne East Walking Tour
Olde Towne East has it all. Architectural wonders including Victorian and American Four Square style homes, stories of rising middle class and diverse populations, and a vibrant community of artists, renovators, and gardeners. In October, we will explore more of this historic neighborhood building on a tour given last spring — featuring a different route with unusual alley buildings, a newly renovated home years in the making, and more hidden gems. All tell the story of one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Columbus.
Saturday, October 27 10am-12pm
$10 Members/$15 Non-Members
The tour ends at noon – in time for you to enjoy lunch at one of the many new, trendy spots in the neighborhood.
We are partnering with Olde Towne East Neighborhood Association for this tour that will be led by Doreen Uhas Sauer, historian, with support from neighborhood residents. Tour begins in front of the home at 47 N. Monroe Avenue at 10 a.m. On street parking is available nearby. Ticket proceeds will be shared between Olde Towne East Neighborhood Association and Columbus Landmarks. We thank you for your support!
