Columbus Landmarks welcomes everyone to the 9th annual City Hop tour of 17 properties showcasing unique examples of downtown living spaces.
Frequently Asked Questions

1. What exactly is the City Hop Tour?
The City Hop Tour highlights the work of area developers who have invested in downtown Columbus to transform old buildings into dynamic lofts and design new buildings for the urban landscape which fit into the spirit of our mission.


2. Where does the tour start?

Participants can start the tour at any of three Ticket Stop locations (see right sidebar). You must choose one of these ticket stops as your starting point. There you can purchase tickets, pick up pre-purchased tickets and receive a map and tour book. There is a suggested but not prescribed route that you can take at your leisure. The tour is from 10am to 6pm and you can start and end anytime you like within those hours.

3. Can I walk to all of the properties?
Almost! First, be sure to wear good walking shoes. A shuttle bus service will be available to pick up and drop off event participants. The shuttle buses will circulate between the three Ticket and Tour Stops while tour guides share information about downtown Columbus’ historic landmarks. The shuttle is included in the price of admission.

4. Where should I park?
Ibiza:
On-street metered parking in the Short North

Neighborhood Launch:
On-street metered parking and in surface lots nearby

Arena Grand:
Parking in lot west of the theater on Nationwide Blvd, or in the parking garage directly behind the theater.


5. Is the tour handicap accessible?
Not all properties may be accessible. The tour book will indicate which stops are accessible.

6. What is Columbus Landmarks Foundation?
Columbus Landmarks is central Ohio’s only nonprofit organization dedicated to historic preservation and quality urban design. Landmarks plays an integral role in educating the community, encouraging responsible public and private sector enhancement of historic areas and structures, and promoting the highest standards in the design and construction of new buildings and spaces.
